“Weekly Total Reach” is the number of people who could potentially see your Facebook updates.
In the example below you can see the the Herbfest Facebook page had the following stats:
Weekly total reach for Herbfest is well over 6,000 views. Now that does not mean that everybody paid attention to it. It just means they had an opportunity to see it. Some ignored it, some maybe did not even log into Facebook. At the same time some people may have enjoyed it so much that they spread it around to their friends.
When comments are made on a post it also increases the attention brought to that post. If one of your “likers” or friends comments on your post, then all of their friends can potentially see it and take note of your amazing quality content.
The key is to post quality, useful content. Something that is worth sharing and worth talking about and commenting on.
It’s a good idea to post on a regular (but not ridiculous ) basis.
